Don't Tell Me This Town Ain't Got No Heart

We have been proud members of Denver's thriving restaurant scene since 2012, when we opened our first shop in the historic West Highlands neighborhood. We love this town's innovative spirit, melting pot feel, delicious food, rich history, vibrant live music, creative arts scene and outdoor access. We opened our Wash Park location in summer 2019 and love growing new roots in one of our favorite old-Denver neighborhoods. We live here too, and are grateful to be part of this vibrant community!

The Finest Wingslingers in the Business

We are grateful for our crew of hard-working wingslingers, several of whom have been with us since day one. Our staff not only excels at serving hot wings and cold beer, they are an immensely talented and creative bunch of artists, musicians, students, parents, athletes, entrepreneurs and activists. We are so dang proud of the humans that make up the Fire on the Mountain family.

When you dine in (or take out) from Fire on the Mountain, your dollars directly provide a living wage, full health coverage, 401k benefits, paid time off, holiday bonuses, and daily meals to our entire team of nearly 100 employees. In support of this, we place a 3% "Staff Benefits Fund" service charge on all sales. Thank you for your support of our hardworking staff and their families!

Our Commitment to Sustainability

We are among a select group of restaurants nationwide that have made broad commitments to sustainability and responsible sourcing. We source only cage free, antibiotic free chicken and free range, Colorado grown and finished beef.

We compost all food scraps (meat, bones, everything!) and we use only compostable to-go boxes, bags, and cups. We recycle all our cardboard, paper, glass, plastic, and metal. Through these practices, we divert about 75% of our waste stream out of the landfill.

We recycle our used cooking oil locally, support numerous local food purveyors, and love serving beer and spirits from Colorado's many incredible breweries and distilleries.

Community Support

Fire on the Mountain Denver strives to be a positive force in the community. Via our Charity Partner of the Month program and other philanthropic efforts, we have donated over $500,000 to the Denver community since we opened in 2012. We support local schools with food donations, pay our staff to volunteer with causes important to them, and donate to local schools and nonprofits working toward the health of people, animals and the planet.
