The space at 3801 West 32nd Avenue that last housed Apres Dessert Bar is going in almost the exact opposite direction: toward wings, sandwiches, burgers and beer. Fire on the Mountain, a mini-chain with locations in Portland, Oregon, is expanding into Colorado. By the week of April 23, Denver's Fire on the Mountain should be open and serving its signature wings and sauces. Say hello to Fire on the Mountain Buffalo Wings, a new buffalo wing joint opening in West Highland on April 23rd. While it's a new concept in these parts, the restaurant is an extension of a successful wing chain out of Portland. Co-owner Andrea West tells Eater that she and her business partner Craig Oberlink teamed up with Fire on the Mountain founders Jordan Busch and Sara Sawicki to bring the concept to Denver.
