We are proud to serve hormone-free, antibiotic free, cage-free Redbird Farms chicken. Here at Fire On The Mountain, we think fresh, happy chicken makes all the difference. We can taste the difference, and we invite you to do the same. We fry our wings in 100% trans-fat free oil until they are hot and crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside.
But, we're not just famous for our chicken wings. We are also known for our Colorado grass fed burgers, homemade vegan wings, awesome salads, twelve delicious sauces...The list goes on. Our onion rings, fried pickles and bleu-cheese stuffed mushrooms are all homemade. Our fries are fresh-cut. Fresh: it’s how we roll at FOTM.
A Greener Restaurant Model
We recently became the first certified green restaurant in the Highlands. Thank you Certifiably Green Denver! What does that mean? Well, for starters, we COMPOST. Meat, bones, food scraps, paper products, to go containers, cups…bring it on! We are pleased to say that we compost A LOT more than we actually throw away. We also RECYCLE! All of our cardboard, glass, plastics and metal get a second chance. After composting and recycling like honey badgers, we send very little to the landfill. We produce RENEWABLE FUEL. Our fryer oil gets turned into biodiesel fuel. Increase the grease!
We use compostable to-go boxes, bags, cups, straws, and portion cups. We support and make contributions to local nonprofits focused on the health of people and the planet. We PLEDGE ALLIEGANCE to our bikes and offer discounts for those of you who make the effort to bike, walk, roll, bus, or take alternative transport. And, of course, we support LOCAL BREWERIES and DISTILLERIES!
